🕉️ Chapter 10 – Divine Glories (Vibhuti Yoga): Shlokas 31–42
As Krishna continues revealing His manifestations — in rivers, warriors, sages, rituals, and truths — He ends with a powerful declaration: all these divine forms are just a spark of His infinite Self. The message? Stop limiting the Divine. Begin seeing Him everywhere.
📜 Shloka 31
पवनः पवतामस्मि रामः शस्त्रभृतामहम् ।
झषाणां मकरश्चास्मि स्रोतसामस्मि जाह्नवी ॥31॥
English Translation:
Among purifiers, I am the wind. Among warriors, I am Rama. Among aquatic creatures, I am the crocodile. Among rivers, I am the Ganga.
हिन्दी अनुवाद:
शुद्ध करने वालों में मैं पवन हूँ, शस्त्रधारियों में राम हूँ, जलचरों में मकर और नदियों में गंगा हूँ।

सर्गाणामादिरन्तश्च मध्यं चैवाहमर्जुन ।
अध्यात्मविद्या विद्यानां वादः प्रवदतामहम् ॥32॥
English Translation:
I am the beginning, middle, and end of all creations. Among sciences, I am the science of the Self. Among debates, I am the logic of truth.

हे अर्जुन! मैं समस्त सृष्टियों का आदि, मध्य और अंत हूँ। विद्यों में आत्मविद्या और तर्क करने वालों में न्याययुक्त वाद मैं हूँ।

अक्षराणामकारोऽस्मि द्वन्द्वः सामासिकस्य च ।
अहमेवाक्षयः कालो धाताऽहं विश्वतोमुखः ॥33॥
English Translation:
Among letters, I am the letter “A.” Among compound words, I am the dual compound. I am imperishable time, and the all-facing creator.

मैं अक्षरों में “अ” हूँ, समासों में द्वंद्व समास हूँ, मैं अविनाशी काल हूँ, और चारों ओर मुख वाले सृष्टिकर्ता (ब्रह्मा) मैं हूँ।

मृत्युः सर्वहरश्चाहमुद्भवश्च भविष्यताम् ।
कीर्तिः श्रीर्वाक्च नारीणां स्मृतिर्मेधा धृतिः क्षमा ॥34॥
English Translation:
I am all-devouring death, and also the source of future things. Among women, I am fame, fortune, speech, memory, intelligence, firmness, and patience.

मैं सर्वभक्षी मृत्यु हूँ और भविष्य का उद्गम भी। स्त्रियों में कीर्ति, श्री (लक्ष्मी), वाणी, स्मृति, मेधा, धैर्य और क्षमा मैं हूँ।

Krishna is the end — and the new beginning. The essence of all feminine divine qualities.
📜 Shloka 35
बृहत्साम तथा साम्नां गायत्री छन्दसामहम् ।
मासानां मार्गशीर्षोऽहमृतूनां कुसुमाकरः ॥35॥
English Translation:
Among the hymns of the Sama Veda, I am the Brihat Sama. Among poetic meters, I am Gayatri. Among months, I am Margashirsha (Nov-Dec). Among seasons, I am spring.

सामवेद के मंत्रों में बृहत्साम, छंदों में गायत्री, महीनों में मार्गशीर्ष और ऋतुओं में वसंत मैं हूँ।

द्यूतं छलयतामस्मि तेजस्तेजस्विनामहम् ।

English Translation:
Among deceivers, I am gambling. I am the brilliance of the brilliant. I am victory. I am effort. I am the goodness of the good.

मैं छल करने वालों में जुआ हूँ, तेजस्वियों का तेज, विजय, प्रयास और सत्पुरुषों का सत्त्व हूँ।

वृष्णीनां वासुदेवोऽस्मि पाण्डवानां धनंजयः ।
मुनीनामप्यहं व्यासः कवीनामुशना कविः ॥37॥
English Translation:
Among the Vrishnis, I am Vasudeva. Among the Pandavas, I am Arjuna. Among sages, I am Vyasa. Among poets, I am Ushanas.

वृष्णियों में वासुदेव, पाण्डवों में अर्जुन, मुनियों में व्यास और कवियों में शुक्राचार्य मैं हूँ।

दण्डो दमयतामस्मि नीतिरस्मि जिगीषताम् ।
मौनं चैवास्मि गुह्यानां ज्ञानं ज्ञानवतामहम् ॥38॥
English Translation:
Among punishers, I am the rod of discipline. Among seekers of victory, I am strategy. I am silence among secrets, and wisdom among the wise.

दमन करने वालों में दण्ड, विजय चाहने वालों में नीति, रहस्यों में मौन और ज्ञानों में ज्ञान मैं हूँ।

Wisdom is not always loud. The Divine often whispers in silence.

यच्चापि सर्वभूतानां बीजं तदहमर्जुन ।
न तदस्ति विना यत्स्यान्मया भूतं चराचरम् ॥39॥
English Translation:
I am the seed of all living beings. There is no being — moving or unmoving — that exists without Me.

हे अर्जुन! समस्त भूतों का बीज मैं ही हूँ। जो कुछ भी चलता या स्थिर है — वह मुझसे रहित नहीं है।

नान्तोऽस्ति मम दिव्यानां विभूतीनां परन्तप ।
एष तूद्देशतः प्रोक्तो विभूतेर्विस्तरो मया ॥40॥
English Translation:
There is no end to My divine manifestations, O Arjuna. What I have described to you is only a glimpse.

हे परंतप! मेरी दिव्य विभूतियों का कोई अंत नहीं है। यह जो वर्णन मैंने किया है, वह तो संक्षेप में ही है।

यद्यद्विभूतिमत्सत्त्वं श्रीमदूर्जितमेव वा ।

English Translation:
Whatever is glorious, prosperous, or powerful — know that it comes from a spark of My splendor.

अथवा बहुनैतेन किं ज्ञातेन तवार्जुन ।

English Translation:
What need is there, Arjuna, for all this detailed knowledge? With just one part of Myself, I sustain this entire universe.

हे अर्जुन! इन सब जानकारियों से तुझे क्या लाभ? मैं अपने एक अंश से ही इस समस्त जगत को धारित करता हूँ।
