🕉️ Chapter 7 – The Yoga of Knowledge and Wisdom: Shlokas 21–30
In these concluding verses of Chapter 7, Krishna explains why people worship various forms, how faith works even when misdirected, and what it means to truly know Him — especially at the final moment of life.
📜 Shloka 21
English Translation:
Whatever deity a devotee worships with faith, I make their faith steady in that form.
🔍 Deep Reflection:
God honors your intention — even when your direction isn't perfect.
🪔 Modern Insight:
Sincerity matters more than system. The Divine meets you where you are.
📜 Shloka 22
English Translation:
Endowed with that faith, the devotee seeks blessings from the chosen deity and obtains desires — but it is I who grant them.
🔍 Deep Reflection:
All blessings — regardless of path — flow from the One Source.
🪔 Modern Insight:
You may dial different numbers, but the signal comes from the same network: Divine Consciousness.
📜 Shloka 23
English Translation:
But the fruits gained by those of limited understanding are temporary. Worshippers of gods go to those gods — My devotees come to Me.
🔍 Deep Reflection:
Temporary devotion brings temporary rewards. Lasting love leads to eternal union.
🪔 Modern Insight:
Shortcuts give results, not realization. The full path leads to the Infinite.
📜 Shloka 24
English Translation:
The unwise think of Me as limited, taking a human form — unaware of My supreme, unmanifest nature.
🔍 Deep Reflection:
God may come in form — but He is not confined by it.
🪔 Modern Insight:
Don’t mistake the Avatar for just a body. It's Consciousness in costume.
📜 Shloka 25
English Translation:
I am not revealed to everyone — covered by My divine yoga-maya. This ignorant world doesn’t recognize Me as unborn and eternal.
🔍 Deep Reflection:
God hides — not to escape us, but to invite sincere seeking.
🪔 Modern Insight:
Divine truth isn't always loud — it whispers. Be still enough to hear it.
📜 Shloka 26
English Translation:
I know all beings — past, present, and future — but no one truly knows Me, O Arjuna.
🔍 Deep Reflection:
The Divine knows you fully. The path is to begin knowing Him — not as an object, but as your own essence.
🪔 Modern Insight:
God sees your timeline like one frame — past, present, future — yet loves you in your now.
📜 Shloka 27
English Translation:
All beings are born into delusion, overcome by dualities of desire and aversion, O Bharata.
🔍 Deep Reflection:
Desire and fear cloud our perception — they make us forget who we truly are.
🪔 Modern Insight:
The mind trapped in “like vs dislike” never sees the light. Step above duality.
📜 Shloka 28
English Translation:
Those whose sins are destroyed by virtuous acts, and who are free from the delusion of duality — they worship Me with firm resolve.
🔍 Deep Reflection:
Purity isn’t about ritual — it’s clarity of vision. When the fog lifts, devotion flows.
🪔 Modern Insight:
Your inner cleansing happens through conscious living — not just chanting.
📜 Shloka 29

Those who take refuge in Me, seeking freedom from old age and death — they know Brahman, the Self, and the entirety of karma.

Spirituality isn’t escape from death — it’s awakening to eternal life.
🪔 Modern Insight:
When you know your soul is timeless, your fear of time dissolves.
📜 Shloka 30
English Translation:
Those who know Me as the Supreme — within all beings, gods, and sacrifice — even at the moment of death, their consciousness remains united with Me.
🔍 Deep Reflection:
To remember the Divine even in the final breath — this is the mark of complete realization.
🪔 Modern Insight:
Live in remembrance so deeply that even death bows before your awareness.
