🕉️ Chapter 10 – Divine Glories (Vibhuti Yoga): Shlokas 11–20
These verses are where Krishna begins to lift the veil. He describes how He removes ignorance from devotees and begins revealing His divine forms, powers, and manifestations — not metaphorically, but cosmically. Arjuna, struck with awe, begins asking: "Who are You, really?"
📜 Shloka 11
तेषामेवानुकम्पार्थमहमज्ञानजं तमः ।
नाशयाम्यात्मभावस्थो ज्ञानदीपेन भास्वता ॥11॥
English Translation:
Out of compassion, I destroy the darkness of ignorance in such devotees by illuminating their hearts with the lamp of knowledge.

ऐसे भक्तों पर कृपा करके, मैं उनके हृदय में ज्ञानरूपी दीप जलाकर अज्ञान से उत्पन्न अंधकार को नष्ट कर देता हूँ।

अर्जुन उवाच —

आहुस्वं ऋषयः सर्वे देवर्षिर्नारदस्तथा ।
असितो देवलो व्यासः स्वयं चैव ब्रवीषि मे ॥13॥
English Translation:
Arjuna said: You are the Supreme Brahman, the Supreme Abode, the ultimate purifier, the eternal divine person, the original God, unborn and all-pervading.
All the sages — Narada, Asita, Devala, Vyasa — confirm this truth, and now You Yourself are declaring it to me.

अर्जुन ने कहा: आप परब्रह्म हैं, परम धाम हैं, परम पवित्र हैं; आप शाश्वत दिव्य पुरुष, आदि देव, अजन्मा और सर्वव्यापक हैं।
ऋषि नारद, असित, देवल और व्यासजी ने भी ऐसा ही कहा है, और अब आप स्वयं भी मुझे यही बता रहे हैं।

O Keshava, I believe as true everything You’ve said. Neither gods nor demons truly understand Your mysterious glory.

Only You know Yourself completely, O Supreme Person — Creator and Lord of all beings, God of gods, Ruler of the universe.

वक्तुमर्हस्यशेषेण दिव्या ह्यात्मविभूतयः ।

English Translation:
Please tell me, in full, about Your divine glories by which You pervade all these worlds.

O Yogi! How should I meditate on You at all times? In what forms or aspects should I think of You, O Blessed Lord?

Please describe again in detail Your divine powers and yoga. I never tire of hearing this nectarous truth from You.

The Blessed Lord said: Very well, I shall now describe My divine glories — the most prominent ones — for there is no end to My vast manifestations, O best of the Kurus.
